Lots of yummy vinegars and oils to taste. The owner and workers are super friendly. I ended up getting the limited edition winter orange, lemon ginger vinegar and jalapeño oil. I can't wait to make scrubs and salad dressings.

Popped into Vom Fass on Tuesday and it was one of the best things I did that day. I'm sorry to admit that I'd never before visited the shop -- or even known it existed -- but I'll be a regular from now on. Rex was very welcoming and immediately asked if I'd like to taste any EVOOs, vinegars, or spirits. I opted to try the lemon EVOO with a drop of date balsamic vinegar in it and oh my gooooodnesssss... it was a divine combination. I had to buy some to share with my family -- I couldn't keep that deliciousness to myself. I also tried the rosemary EVOO with pear balsamic vinegar, which is the combo I'll be purchasing next -- it was scrumpdidlyocious. Thank you, Rex, for your kindness and generosity and for offering such high-quality, heavenly products!

Drinks are amazing. The bourbon old fashioned you can buy in a 750ml is quite tasty - and I'm pretty picky. They have a few other interesting mixes along with smaller sizes (100ml, 400ml) of expensive stuff. Worth a visit

Went in there 8.17 with my girlfriend. Manny was very helpful in letting us sample some of the liquors and choosing a gift for our mothers. He was very attentive and friendly to us. Highly recommend

We were trying to kill some time and just randomly stumbled into this place. Rex greeted us right away and gave us a quick breakdown about everything in the store. He was very knowledgeable and proud. I love these types of small businesses, they carry everything that we love. I even got a quick free tasting of a Belgium scotch that he sells. All the labels on the glass bottles are handwritten which makes them extra special. I'm obsessed with the few things I bought and now I know where to go when I need a gift to give!!

I am so glad that my family and I stumbled into this shop during our visit at Ghirardelli Square! Rex, the owner, was so welcoming and kind. He offered us samples of the their homemade Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinaigrettes! I was astounded with all the different flavors and how delicious everything tasted. I ended up purchasing their Truffle EVVO and Date Balsamic Vinaigrette, which had such nice flavors of sweetness. I also loved their lemon flavored EVVO. I have used it on salads and it is quite delicious. My husband was quite interested in their liquor collection and sampled their bourbon whiskeys. He ended up purchasing their Old Fashioned. The interior of the place is cozy, clean, and modern, with their selections of Olive Oils and vinaigrettes on one side of the room by the checkout counter, and their wine and liquor on the other side of that. A plus is that they ship orders! I'm definitely visiting this place again when I'm in San Francisco. Until then, I'll order online for my EVVO and Balsamic needs!

Amazing products and amazing service! We were post-Christmas shopping and this was such a treat. We were given small samplers of oils, they had a variety of infused different flavors which were all delicious. They then made a recommendation of which vinegar would pair well with the oils that we chose. Between their thorough list of oils and vinegars, their friendly and helpful service, and the variety of other products in their store (spices, pastas, wine, etc.) This store is one of my new favorites!

Such a cute gem to stumble upon in Ghirardelli square! They have liqueurs, spirits, oils and vinegars. They gave lots of samples of the liqueurs and oils and I ended up getting absinthe as a gift for a friend and the truffle olive oil. The truffle olive oil is to die for and made with real truffles! They also customized my bottle of absinthe which was really special. Great place for gifts.

What a GEM!!! Was walking around the shopping center being tourists that we are and randomly came across this store like 2 min before closing. The gentleman who is the owner of the store welcomed us in (my wife & I) with open arms and began explaining the store and what their items were. After a few free sample sips and 30 minutes later (although they should have closed 28 minutes), we ended up buying this small batch of Old Fashioned. I'm an avid Old Fashion drinker and this might be the best I've ever had! This 200ml equals to about 3 generous servings. So very well worth it. Will certainly be back to try others! Travis was helpful with kindly letting me sample the different vinegars available. The packaging of a lot of the items are cute, quaint, and easy to gift. Really appreciated the customer service here.
